NBC has a really great lineup on Thursdays, and tonight is going to be even better. A 1-hour episode of The Office at 8, followed by Scrubs, and my favorite new comedy of the year, 30 Rock. Now I know that I've been posting a crazy amount of YouTube videos, but they keep the posts entertaining. Here's a clip from 30 Rock.

Nobody's Watching
I'm a huge fan of Bill Lawarance from "Scrubs." He has a new show "Nobody's Watching" that currently seems in limbo for NBC. The pilot is on YouTube, but their website has a bunch of hilarious webisodes. Here's my personal favorite:

Everyone Choose Captain Crunch
I have another reason to love the Wrens. Aside from putting on an amazing show at Little Brothers earlier this year and comming out into the crowd after the show to mingle, I found this on The Rich Girls are Weeping. It's a video of them playing "Everyone Choose Sides"in someone's living room with borrowed guitars and Capin' Crunch for drums. Check it out.
Boys and Girls in Granville
As previously mentioned, my roommates, Jon (above with me) and Josh, and I are doing a big 4 hour 2006 recap show on Wednesday from 5:30-9:30. We decided to name it "Boys and Girls in Granville" after the wonderful Hold Steady album released this year. It should be a great mixture of music, movies, TV, and our commentary on the events of the last year. Be sure to listen at www.wdub.org or in Granville at 91.1 FM!

New Wilco Songs!
I had several people mention during the show how much they enjoyed the new Wilco track I played called "Impossible Germany." Well now, you can preview 12 songs the band has been playing live, including the aforementioned one. You can check out the live version here.
Finals Week Shows and Comments
I will be on the radio twice during finals week. First, I'll have my normal monday night slot (7:30-9:30) as usual. Second, I will be doing a pretty sweet double show with my roommate/Radio Free Granville Host Jon Gardner. For the latter, we'll be recapping 2006 from every angle: music, movies, TV, politics, and I'm sure much more. That show will be Wednesday night, 5:30-9:30. So tune in for the LAST FABOTH of 2006!
ALSO: I realized I was restricting on who could comment on the blog. So now, if you want the 2006 mix, you can actually post in the comment section.

Post Show
Thanks to all that listened to the show! Stay tuned, I'm trying to get the tracks I played on here for download in the near future. Also, I'll be on the air at least once during finals week, but at a different time, so stay tuned for more info on that as well. A bit of personal news worth noting, next semester I will be on of WDUB's assistant music directors, so I'll have access to more music earlier, meaning I can share with you earlier! Sweet! Anyways now that the show is done, here's my Top 5 Albums of 2006:
1. Band of Horses - Everything All of the Time
2. The Long Winters - Putting the Days to Bed
3. The Hold Steady - Boys & Girls in America
4. Thom Yorke - The Eraser
5. Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins - Rabbit Fur Coat
I'll have reviews and more Top 5 lists, so stay tuned!
