I Will Write You Love Letters if You Tell Me To

I heard about the Envy Corps about 2 years ago when I got "The Gregory Rumes EP" for free from their website. I started listening to it again, which lead me to purchase their latest EP, "I Will Write You Love Letters if You Tell Me To." I hear a lot of really cool things going on in their music. There's a definate Radiohead/Coldplay influence going on, but they seem to make it their own, which makes their sound unique. I very highly suggest buying the 7 track EP, if only for the tracks "Rhinemadiens" and "Party Dress."

Sorry for missing the show Monday. I was at a great performance in Columbus of the Accoustic Africa Tour which featured 3 terrific African artists. I reluctantly went for my world music class and ended up loving it. It was a great way to kick off my amazing string of concerts. Tommorow night is Joanna Newsom, Friday is Broken Social Scene, Monday is Ted Leo/Pharmacists with Death Cab for Cutie, and 10 days later is My Morning Jacket! Phew!
