On Friday night, the Wrens rocked out at Little Brothers in Columbus. This is easily one of the best shows I've ever seen. They had a ton of energy and the crowd fed on that and had just as much. They played a lot off "The Meadowlands" including "This Boy is Exhausted," "Everyone Choose Sides," "Hopeless," "Happy," crowd favorite "Boys You Won't" and closed with the beautiful "She Sends Kisses." The coolest part of their interaction after the show, when they came into the crowd, shaking hands and signing autographs for all who asked. This really reinforced my belief that they're one of the better bands out there.
--> I'm seeing Broken Social Scene in November in Cleveland. They have a new music video for "Major Label Debut (Fast)" which is a collage of footage from various tours, including a clip from their performance at the 2005 Intonation Festival. You can get that here.
-->I'll post more later when I have more time, but don't forget to listen to the show tonight from 7:30-9:30...www.wdub.org
