Spoon has done a song for the soundtrack to the upcomming Will Ferrell film "Stranger Than Fiction." It's called "The Book I Write," and you can stream it here.
My Morning Jacket is releasing a DVD of their terrific live album "Okonokos" on Oct. 31. I saw their epic set this summer at Bonnaroo and will again see them Nov. 15 in Indianapolis for the Rockin' For Riley charity concert. Below is a great clip from the DVD of them playing "Gideon."

Finally for now, Lollapalooza has inked a deal with Chicago to stay there until 2011. Holler!
